Hola, Hi, Kia ora
I’m Ana-Yamila, an illustrator and designer from Argentina, now based in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
My background is in Graphic Design & Visual Communication, but my practice leans into storytelling, symbolic imagery, and multidisciplinary play. My work often begins with a drawing and unfolds through digital tools, narrative thinking, and object-based experimentation.
I’m drawn to the quiet force of images, sometimes poetic, sometimes practical, and to the stories hidden in everyday details.
Whether it’s a brand, an illustration, a workshop, or a curious object, I care about craft, clarity, and connection. I work through research, improvisation, and collaborations with people, places, and (occasionally) machines.
I bring not just experience, but a collaborative approach built on trust, honest communication, and a sprinkle of humor.
I’m available for illustration and graphic design projects, creative collaborations, short-term contracts (freelance or in-house), and workshops.
If you’re working on something and think I could help, let’s talk.
I’m open to collaborations, commissions, or creative conversations — feel free to reach out via email
