A set of illustrations commissioned by Design For Conservation, Auckland, New Zealand.

D4C is a research project developed by Dr. Gabriela Baron from The Auckland University.

Is a methodology that enables collaborative problem solving for environmental conservation and sustainability changes. 

These mindset cards are designed to be used in workshops, a training guide, and a visual tool to aid to reach a larger audience and create more impact.

The illustrations were conceived to describe a holistic approach to visualizing ideas and working towards a decolonized aesthetic.

Working together with Gabriela, we translated concepts into visual keys. The keys captured both the simplicity of the conceptual proposition and complex ambiguity of the many ways the proposition could be used and interpreted.  

Currently, these cards are already being implemented in the new workshops that aim to formalize the D4C method.
